As stated, the host of ARY News’ crime show was transported to Karachi’s Abbasi Hospital. According to emerging allegations, he was assaulted by intelligence agency officers.

While further facts about the event are anticipated, photographs of Iqrar ul Hassan receiving medical treatment are making the rounds on social media.

Iqrar Ul Hasan, a Pakistani television presenter and journalist, has reportedly been tortured by Director Intelligence Bureau (IB) Syed Mohiuddin Rizwan and his crew for exposing corruption using video evidence from an IB inspector.

According to reports, members of a civilian intelligence agency in Karachi’s Orangi neighborhood reportedly attacked the ARY News presenter and his colleagues for exposing a corrupt intelligence official.

According to sources, the Sar e Aam presenter was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in serious condition and treated with sutures and first aid. According to doctors, initial medical treatment has been finished and his condition is now stable.

Additionally, sources told Baaghi TV that Iqrar Ul Hassan and his crew were stripped naked, assaulted, and had electric shocks administered to sensitive areas of their bodies at the direction of Director IB Syed Mohiuddin Rizwan.

On the other side, political leaders and the general public have denounced the violence and demanded the arrest of those responsible for the attack on the Sar e Aam team.

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sindh’s Provincial Minister for Local Governments, announced the immediate suspension of five personnel of a federal institution. Iqrar was reportedly assaulted in the Karachi headquarters of a government intelligence agency, the IB.

Additionally, the IB office order states that five personnel, including its director, have been suspended for “mistreatment of the ARY team and mishandling the case.”
