Instagram Music is Available in Pakistan

Instagram’s long-awaited music function is now available in Pakistan, allowing users to incorporate various tracks and soundtracks into their stories and posts. Users in Pakistan previously saw the notice ‘Instagram Music is not available in your location.’ The inaccessibility was caused by the region’s lack of a music license.

In 2018, the photo-sharing site launched the music feature globally. Instagram published the following in an official blog post:

Now you may add a soundtrack to your story that matches any scene and aids in your emotional expression. Instagram Stories is currently used by 400 million people every day, and we’re thrilled to provide additional opportunities for our community to connect with their friends and followers.

To access Instagram Music, simply tap to add a sticker to a photo or video in Stories, and a music symbol will appear among the available options.

Tap it to access a collection of thousands of music – you can search for specific tracks, browse by mood, genre, or popularity, and tap the play button to hear a preview. Once you’ve chosen your song, you can fast-forward and rewind through it to find the exact section that corresponds to your tale.

Additionally, you can select a song before recording a video. Swipe to the new ‘Music’ option beneath the record button when the camera is opened. Find a theme, highlight the section you want, then capture a video while the song plays in the background.
